What to Expect from a Pregnancy Massage in Bromley
Pregnancy is a time of huge change, and taking an hour to slow down can be a welcome chance to feel comfortable, supported and looked after.
At Bromley Massage, pregnancy massage is a personalised treatment for expectant mums from 13 weeks of pregnancy onwards. It takes place in my quiet, private treatment room in Shortlands, close to Bromley and Beckenham.
Your comfort comes first
Before we begin, we will have a chat about how you are feeling, how far along you are, and whether there is anything you would particularly like me to know. You are always welcome to say what feels comfortable, ask questions, or let me know if you would prefer more or less pressure.
Pregnancy massage is adapted to you. You will be positioned safely and comfortably with cushions and support, rather than lying in a position that does not feel right for your body. The treatment can focus on areas that often feel tired or tense, such as the back, shoulders, hips, legs or feet, while still giving you time simply to relax.
A calm, unrushed appointment
There is no need to rush in or out. I allow time between appointments so you can arrive, settle in and leave feeling comfortable.
You can choose a 60, or 75-minute appointment, depending on what feels right for you. Some people prefer a shorter first session, while others enjoy a longer appointment with more time to relax.
Please wear whatever makes you feel at ease. Your privacy is always respected, and you remain covered with towels throughout the treatment apart from the area being worked on.

Pregnancy massage is available from 13 weeks onwards. If you have any concerns about your pregnancy, are under specialist care, or have been advised to avoid massage, it is best to speak with your midwife or healthcare professional before booking.
